Young Authors at Children 1st @ Derby Road

Inspired by those famous Oxford Reading Tree characters, Biff and Chip and their dog Floppy, the children wanted to make their own book. This led to a discussion about being an author and what this means.

The children loved creating their own story about how Floppy the dog met a wolf. The next day the children became illustrators and drew the wolf they had named Foa, the main characters from the book and the forest in which they had set their story.

The lovely story written and illustrated by our keen authors is going to be displayed and shared with other children as an inspiration.Well done everyone!
