The Festival of Holi at Children 1st @ Sheffield

Our Early Years children have loved celebrating Holi, the festival of colours. This Hindu festival marks the coming of spring and the victory of good over evil. It’s known for its bright colours, food, fun and joyous celebrations.

The children learned all about the festival and then we invited them to have a big input on the planning of our celebration. After learning about the big street parties of paint and colour, we of course had to do our own! It was the most messy, colourful fun!

We also made our own Holi party crowns, made rainbow puddles and just simply had a fantastic, colourful, messy Holi.

We hope everyone celebrating Holi had as wonderful a time as we did here at Sheffield.
