Snowy Days at Children 1st Day Nurseries

Magical snowy days continued to be enjoyed at many Children 1st Nurseries. For some it was just a light smattering of the white stuff, for others it was quite a deluge! Whatever the conditions the older children were keen to get out and explore whilst the little ones had snow brought into them to play with in the tuff spots.

Wrapped up warmly, the children who ventured outside made snowballs of all shapes and sizes and stuck out their tongues to catch some snow. Snow was rolled into snowmen or snow rabbits or even green alien snowmen! Great team work produced some fantastic snow sculptures!

Just trying to move in the snow was a challenge at some nurseries where the snow was knee deep. For others trying not to slip and slide was fun! Everyone was busy making patterns with hands and feet, catching the snow on their hands and watching with wonder as the snow fell from the sky and then melted away!

After the fun of making snow angels and throwing those snowballs, it was time to retreat indoors where warm hot chocolate and tasty biscuits soon had everyone warmed up.

As we move towards Spring we may have seen the last of the snow but our snowy day gallery will be a lovely reminder of all the fun we had!
