Pamper Days at Children 1st @ Grantham and Plumtree
Children’s Mental Health Week is an annual event which was set up by the charity Place2Be to shine a spotlight on the importance of the mental health of children and young people.
We know that emotional well-being is just as important as children’s physical health. Good mental health helps them develop resilience to cope with whatever life throws at them and grow in to well-rounded healthy adults.
Our Grantham and Plumtree nurseries ensured the feel good factor with special pampering spa days. At Plumtree the children were invited to come to nursery in their pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers. They were treated to foot soaks, hand soaks and cucumber eye therapy while enjoying the sound of relaxing music. They were encouraged to express how they were feeling through their drawings. It’s safe to say from their pictures that the children had a wonderful relaxing day and thoroughly enjoyed their pamper sessions.
At Grantham the Jemima Puddleducks also enjoyed their pamper session. Their foot soaks and their massages helped them to relax alongside the sensory lighting and music.
