March Fun at Children 1st @ Bilborough

The children throughout the nursery have had fun in March taking part in so many activities.

The Under 2s and the Early Years were pleased to welcome their parents/carers to their ‘Stay and Play’ sessions. Their special visitors enjoyed joining in with Easter themed fun such as decorating bunny shaped biscuits and creating art and craft Easter eggs.  The children loved having their visitors come along to share their fun times at nursery. Thank-you to all who joined us.

The Early Years children have also enjoyed some Spring themed activities such as learning about the life cycle of a frog and that of the butterfly. They’ve been planting and looking after their own plants.

Of course, March is the month we celebrate our love of books so we were delighted to have a memorable World Book Day which gave us the opportunity to share our favourite books and to dress as our favourite characters.

What a busy month and with Easter looming, it can only get even better!
