Bonfire Celebrations at Children 1st Nurseries

Many of our nurseries used the theme of Bonfire Night to spark creative and imaginary activities. The children had a great day making firework paintings, exploring sensory trays, and gathering round the pretend fires they had helped to build.

Of course, no celebration would be complete without some tasty food. From fruity rocket kebabs, marshmallows dipped in chocolate to edible breadstick sparklers, chocolate apples and hot chocolate to drink, there was plenty for everyone to enjoy. The hotdogs were pretty good too!

In addition to all the creative activities, we used the opportunity to reinforce important fire safety messages.
