Winter Sensory Fun at Children 1st @ Syston
Recently the Bobtails and Jemima Puddleducks became absorbed in a series of magical winter themed activities as they discovered the wonder of ice and cornflour.
Ice and cornflour offer a sensory experience that’s perfect for sparking curiosity and creativity during the winter season. With the tuff spot transformed into a chilly landscape by the use of materials and creatures of varying textures, the children could develop their confidence in handling the various items. The big blue ice cubes were so cold to the touch but the children were soon busy watching them melt as they moved them around the sea creatures.
We hope you enjoy looking at our images and perhaps our activities have given you some ideas to try at home. If so, please let us know how you got on.
