Very Hungry Caterpillars at Children 1st @ Leicester

Benjamin Bunnies have been enjoying a range of activities based on the children’s classic story, ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle.

This beautifully illustrated book which tells the story of a ravenous caterpillar eating its way through the week has been delighting young children and adults for over 50 years.

Our Benjamin Bunnies loved trying the various foods eaten by the caterpillar on his journey to becoming a beautiful butterfly. The watermelon and the strawberries were firm favourites!

Benjamin Bunnies also created their own caterpillars by recycling apple trays and painting/mark making them in bright colours.
