Superheroes at Children 1st @ Oakwood, Derby

All the children at Oakwood enjoyed a fabulous week of superhero fun. We started off the week with reading the book ‘Supertato’ which is our book of the month. The children re-enacted the story with homemade ‘Supertato’ props and transformed themselves into their favourite hero.

All our little superheroes showed off their superpowers from flying through the air to running around the garden at super speeds. They also used their creative powers as they made superhero masks using various materials.

Miss Siobhan in the Early Years led a special ‘Superhero Wake and Shake’ as part of our morning exercise routine at registration. Even our cook, Miss Gemma, got involved by making some super delicious ‘Supertato’ inspired biscuits as part of our afternoon tea. Thanks Miss Gemma!

All in all, we all had a super-duper week.
