Soups and Perfumes at Children 1st @ Derby Road

The Early Years children have had great fun handling fresh produce as they cut, sliced and grated fruit and vegetables of their choice. Pomegranates were a source of fascination and everyone loved the smell of the limes and lemons. Such a great sensory experience!

They worked together to make soups, perfumes and lots of yummy dinners. Where necessary, the children changed their plans to achieve what they were trying to do. There was plenty of chatter as the children were busy with the mixing and stirring!

Not surprisingly, they absolutely loved this activity!
