Rudy Run at Children 1st Newark Nurseries - Children 1st Day Nurseries

Rudy Run at Children 1st Newark Nurseries

The children at Children 1st @ Newark and Children 1st @ Newark Town have put their best feet forward in support of Rudy’s Run which raises money for St. Barnabas Hospice in Lincoln.

Rudy’s Run isn’t a race. It can be completed by running, walking, jumping, dancing, prancing or even skipping! The Newark children at both nurseries used their extensive gardens and set off eagerly to do Rudy Run. They looked fantastic dressed in antlers and wearing red noses, just like Rudolph.

To make it more exciting, Children 1st @ Newark incorporated a Christmas scavenger hunt into Rudy’s Run. The Peter Rabbits and Early Years were challenged to find the Christmas characters who were hiding in their gardens. The children were delighted to rescue a snowman who was in danger of melting by the fire pit and a Santa who was hiding at the top of the castle.

The little ones at Children 1st @ Newark Town gleefully tackled their obstacle course. Jumping into tyres, climbing through the tunnel and whizzing down the slide was great fun.

All the children and the staff showed such enthusiasm for Rudy’s Run, making this a very joyous occasion.

We would like to thank all our parents and carers who sponsored this festive event and helped us to raise a total of £215 for this worthy cause.

Congratulations to all at our Newark nurseries for a great combined effort.
