Ready, Steady, Bake at Children 1st at Newark Town

The Baking Club of 2025 saw children, parents and staff coming together to make shortbread. With parents guiding the children through the recipe and helping them with the mixing, it was lovely to see such great teamwork and so many smiles as the ingredients were transformed into the shortbread mixture. Fancy cutters were used to shape the biscuits before they were covered and taken home for baking. Our Baking Club feedback suggests the biscuits were very yummy!
