Picnic Time for Teddy Bears at Children 1st @ Syston and Toton

National Teddy Bears Picnic Day was a feast of fun at our Syston and Toton nurseries as the children treated their favourite soft toys to a delicious outdoor picnic.

At Syston, the Early Years’ children loved bringing in their own teddy from home, sharing stories with them and enjoying a yummy afternoon picnic in the garden!

Children across the nursery at Toton joined in with the celebration and were delighted to share their food with their soft toys in the garden.

Early Years Yellow at Toton used the picnic as an opportunity to develop their independence skills by making their own sandwiches for the picnic. The children selected and chopped up their chosen ingredients before putting them all together in a tasty  sandwich.

The day was filled with laughter, chatter and joy, as the children made sure their toys had the best picnic ever!
