Peter Rabbits Explore Their World at St. Peter and St. Paul
What a fantastic time our Peter Rabbits children have had accessing the ball pool!
This area supports the children in developing their physical skills and is part of our continuous provision within the Peter Rabbits unit.
The children are always excited to play in the ball pool, using their gross motor skills to climb up the steps and slide down the slide. The children also use fantastic communication skills to tell us about their adventures!
The Peter Rabbits children have also been busy exploring with paint. The children used a variety of tools to explore, from rollers to paintbrushes, even becoming excited when they started to paint with their hands!
Our children developed curiosity skills and inquisitiveness by observing how the paint splatted everywhere when we patted it or clapped hands. They were intrigued to see how their friends were creating marks differently. This was a great way of developing their communication and social skills, with the use of lots of different language.
