Moon Sand and Paint at Children 1st @ Acorns Upper Tean

What a great time we’ve been having in Bobtails recently.

We loved exploring the ‘moon sand’ tuff spot Miss Jess had set up outside. We had paintbrushes to move the moon sand around and also used our hands to pick it up and feel the texture of it. Yvie said, “Wow!” and giggled excitedly as she lifted the moon sand up and sprinkled it back into the tray.

We went back inside to continue with the fun! We sat in trays containing  different colours of paint and used the paintbrushes to paint all over our bodies. We painted our feet, hands, arms and even faces getting very messy but having lots of fun as we explored the paint. Such great sensory experiences for our Bobtails!
