Making Friends With a Book at Children 1st @ Bilborough

Our Jemima Puddleducks and Bobtails’ children  had a wonderful week listening to traditional stories and enjoying play activities based on the themes from these well-loved tales.

The children enjoyed snuggling down and sharing the books in small groups .

They took part in a range of sensory activities to support well known stories such as the Gingerbread Man, The Three Little Pigs and The Little Red Hen.

Everyone had fun recreating parts of the stories using a range of materials such as straw, glue, coco mud, flour and paint.

Such a marvellous week in which we all loved ‘making friends with a book!’ Which book would you like to make friends with?
