Loving the Science at Children 1st @ Grantham

The Early Years children have been immersed in all things scientific over the past few weeks. They have taken part in a wide range of experiments which involved using several science skills.

All the experiments encouraged the children to carefully observe the world around them. This kind of focussed observation leads them to question why things happen the way they do and to develop their scientific language. Our science experiments also provided the children with the opportunity to learn and practice many different skills and encouraged their social skills as they worked alongside each other and listened to each other’s observations.
