Learning about Life Cycles at Children 1st @ Plumtree

The children at Plumtree have been observing live frogspawn, tadpoles and caterpillars this week!

These activities are helping the children to understand the world of life cycles by watching how these little creatures grow. Emmy explained to everyone she thought ‘the caterpillars were furry and wiggle around’.

All the children are observing these creatures daily and looking out for any changes happening, observing similarities from one of the their favourite books ‘A Very Hungry Caterpillar’!

We can’t wait to see how these creatures grow in the next coming weeks.
