Learning about Life Cycles and Growing at Children 1st @ Birstall

The Early Years children at Birstall have been learning about life cycles and growing!

For this topic, they watched their very own Caterpillars turn into cocoons and eventually into beautiful butterflies!

The children were amazed and did a fantastic job of looking after them through each stage of their life cycle by feeding and nurturing them.

The children then released the butterflies when they were fully formed and watched them fly away into our gardens!
