Holi Celebrations at Children 1st @ Birstall

The children at Birstall have had tremendous fun celebrating the festival of Holi!

Holi is a festival which signifies the victory of good over evil and is celebrated as a day of spreading happiness and love. The festival is also celebrated as thanksgiving for good harvest.

The children dressed in their all in ones as we knew it was going to get very messy! They really enjoyed this and had a lot of fun as you can see! They enjoyed throwing the powder, and exploring the different colours!
