Hello Yellow Day at Children 1st @ Acorns Upper Tean
At Acorns we enjoyed many activities to mark ‘Hello Yellow Day,’ which is held each year to raise awareness of the importance of young people’s mental health as part of World Mental Health Day.
We wore lots of bright yellow clothing, made yellow playdough and played with our favourite yellow toys. We also participated in activities about our emotions and our feelings, which included practicing the many different faces that we make to match our emotions. We also had a lovely afternoon activity of yoga, which made us all feel very calm and relaxed.
