Happiness at Children 1st @ Wragby Road
To celebrate International Day of Happiness our Early Years have been talking about things that make them happy and why. Being with family is clearly important to them but eating ice cream, playing with toys and being around animals were also popular choices!
We feel it is important for children to be able to express their emotions, and have really enjoyed listening to what makes them happy, as well as seeing so many smiley faces!
We continued with our International Day of Happiness by asking the staff about what makes them happy. Smiles on the faces of the children was a firm favourite but there was a wide range of responses from going on holiday, being with nature and making memories.
Sunny weather makes Miss Jessica happy and we certainly make the most of it at Wragby Road. The Peter Rabbits have been busy finding out about Spring flowers, exploring the shapes and textures of the plants. They’ve also been enjoying the delights of playing in the garden, developing their physical skills as they run and jump about with friends. Happy days indeed!
