Happiness at Children 1st @ Buckinghams

Early Years have enjoyed celebrating “Hello Yellow Day” today, supporting children’s mental health.

They’ve taken part in lots of feelings related activities including some quiet time mindfulness pictures and  fun yoga with friends whilst listening to calming panpipes.

Everyone enjoyed “filling our buckets,” an activity linked to our mindfulness story called, ‘Everybody Feels Happy,’ by Moira Butterfield. The book and the activities prompted the children to think and chat about what makes them happy and how they can help other people to feel happy.

This was a delightful day with so much happiness being shared. Thank-you to our lovely Early Years.
