Golden Buzzer Moments at Children 1st @ Buckinghams
The Early Years at Buckinghams certainly lit up the golden buzzer at their recent Talent Show. Everyone was keen to entertain their friends and the staff with their superb singing and dance moves. Wow! What a talented bunch our Early Years are! Well-done everyone. Thank-you for bringing so much joy to our nursery with your lovely performances.
As well as performing, we’ve also been thinking about rainbows. We’ve been fortunate to see quite a few in the sky over nursery recently so we’ve been talking about what makes rainbows occur. We followed this up by making our own rainbows and using our fine motor skills to wrap wool around a cardboard rainbow. We showed some great colour matching and winding skills.
Always keen to teach the children about staying safe in the outside world, our recent focus on road safety saw the children working together to make their own traffic lights, chatting about the meaning of the colours and how to cross safely, before setting off to role play everything they had learned on the outside track. What a great way to put all their learning into practice in a safe environment.
