Fun Filled August at Children 1st @ The Marina

What a fun filled August we’ve enjoyed at The Marina!

Earlier in the month the children explored the activities at their own funfair. With traditional fairground games and kite flying, it’s little wonder the children were giggling as they explored all that was on offer at the fair!

The Peter Rabbits have been in holiday mood in August creating their own travel agents in the role play area. With so many exciting destinations to choose from, they were certainly spoilt for choice! They loved making their own passports, taking on the role of travel agent and chatting about their own holiday adventures.

Children across all rooms enjoyed a fun filled Sports Day! The babies used their gross motor skills to navigate their way through a game of bowling and the Peter Rabbit’s developed their balancing skills on an obstacle course. The Early Years learnt all about rules, teamwork and sportsmanship in their egg and spoon race, hurdles and relay race. Well done to all involved and a special thank-you to the staff who spread the fun by taking part in their own race.
