Exploring the Senses at Children 1st @ Oakwood Derby

The Bobtails at Oakwood had great fun learning about senses this week!

The children loved exploring their senses to feel the different objects in the tray. Miss Ve had lots of great conversations with the children about the different animals and where they live on the farm.

“The pig lives in the mud”… “Look, feathers for the chick!”

The children also added their own objects into the tray, expressing their own thoughts on what they could see and feel. Miss Ve even used the different Makaton signs of each farmyard animal to further communicate with the children.
