Exploring the Senses at Children 1st @ Bilborough!
The younger children within our Bilborough nursery had a super fun time exploring with their senses last week!
Everyone enjoyed playing with the different textures of the materials in the tuff trays and the exciting bright colours.
Sensory play is extremely beneficial to children. There are many benefits to children taking part in sensory play as it helps to build nerve connections in the brain.
It encourages the development of motor skills, supports language development, encourages ‘scientific thinking’ and problem solving.
