Volcanic Eruptions at Children 1st @ Chesterfield Royal Hospital

The Early Years and Peter Rabbits loved taking part in Science Week recently.

The children engaged with a variety of activities which helped them to develop skills such as observation, prediction and measuring. Possibly one of the favourite activities was making the volcano erupt in the land of the dinosaurs!

Early Years also went off into the woods for a scavenger hunt which brought them close to nature as they looked to see what was hiding in the woodland. They thrived on the  opportunity to climb amongst the trees and to seek out the items on their scavenger hunt sheet. Well done to all our young scientists!
