Eggcellent Easter Celebrations at Children 1st @ Leicester

We’ve had a wonderful week of Easter themed activities at Leicester.

Decorating our giant Easter eggs required so much concentration as we cut and glued shapes onto our eggs.

No Easter celebration would be complete without chocolate! Making our Easter nests required everyone to help out with the stirring and adding of breakfast cereal to the melted chocolate. Transferring the chocolate mixture to individual baking cases was a bit tricky but we managed it and then had the fun of adding chocolate mini eggs as decoration. The results were delicious.

The nursery took on a real Easter flavour when the children arrived with their splendid Easter bonnets. They all looked magnificent and the children were keen to share their bonnets with their friends which led to plenty of lively chatter.
