Egg-Citing Times at Children 1st @ St. Peter and St. Paul

We have had an amazing time exploring our eggciting Easter activities in Peter Rabbits. We’ve been searching for hidden items in our treasure tray and working together to find all the hidden Easter eggs. We had so much fun exploring all the textures of the materials in the tray and moving the treasure and eggs using a range of tools. We made different coloured playdough with our friends and tried to roll our dough into egg shapes, but we decided making wiggly worms was the best!

Meanwhile, Early Years have been keeping a close eye on the seven eggs that arrived in nursery earlier this week. The eggs are keeping warm in their special incubator.

We’re not yet sure what will hatch from the eggs. Currently we are undecided on if they belong to a crocodile, the Easter Bunny, a chicken, an ostrich or if they are dinosaur eggs! We’ll let you know what emerges from these precious eggs on our Facebook page.

No wonder we’re having such egg-citing times here at St. Peter and St.Paul.
