Easter Eggstravaganza at Children 1st @ Main Street

At Main Street we have been celebrating all things Easter with all the children taking part in an Easter bonnet eggstravaganza!!!

The children were asked to bring in an Easter bonnet they had made with their families at home. During the day Miss Jade who was our special judge loved looking at all the wonderful bonnets. After the children showed off their eggciting hats to the staff and their friends a winner from each group was chosen.

All the children made their  own Easter chocolate nest and decorated it with a choice of Easter treats to take home.

Peter Rabbits and Early Years took part in an Easter egg hunt in the garden. Peter Rabbits also made carrots to feed their rabbit. Each child was given a carrot to throw into the rabbit’s mouth. He really liked his carrots!

Our Out of School children also took part in a colouring competition for a chance to win an Easter egg.
