Celebrating the Japanese Kite Festival at Children 1st @ Birstall

The children at our Birstall nursery have been celebrating the Japanese Kite Festival!

Everyone learnt how to fly the kites to symbolise the wish that their children will grow into healthy adults.

A big thank you to all the parents who got involved to hep make these creative kites with the children, your efforts were greatly appreciated and everyone really enjoyed watching them take off!

The children were very proud of their homemade kites and we hope they had lots of fun!
