Celebrating Eid at Children 1st @ Syston

The children at our Syston nursery have really enjoyed their Eid celebrations!

Firstly, the children watched a short video telling them all about Eid and why Eid is celebrated. After, everyone looked at the ‘Hambalis Story’ of celebrating Ramadan and Eid.

The children also enjoyed tasting some Middle Eastern foods and some pink guava juice!

Afterwards, everyone had a look at a prayer mat and some of the children talked about how they pray at home.

The children also enjoyed making some moon and star decorations to take home and hang up themselves!
