Celebrating Eid at Children 1st @ Leicester

The children at our Leicester nursery have been celebrating Eid today!

Eid is the end of the period of fasting, marked by the rising of the new moon to show that a new month is starting.

Celebrations include special prayers in the mosque, partying/feasts and giving each other presents!

Lots of the children dressed up in gifted clothes from families, and enjoyed celebrating throughout the day with a number of fun activities….

Everyone enjoyed colouring in and decorating Mehdi, making Eid cards with glitter and dressing up.
