Celebrating British Food Fortnight at Children 1st @ Syston!
At our Syston nursery, we have been celebrating British Food Fortnight 2021.
This is the 20th year of the national celebration of the diverse and delicious food that Britain produces.
Everyone spoke about British food and where the food comes from. The children then got to create their very own dish at their creative stations.
In the afternoon, tables were set ready for a Great British Feast. The children were in the British spirit and came dressed in red, white and blue.
Everyone tried some Great British Food which included Fish, chips and mushy peas, Yorkshire pudding, Eccles cake, scones and many more!
