Caring for caterpillars at Children 1st @ Shepshed

Shepshed nursery have had an exciting week!

Over the topic of growing, the Early Years children had caterpillars to look after. They watched and learned as they formed their own cocoons and turned into butterflies.

This week, the butterflies were ready to be released into the lovely garden!

As it has also been sensory week, the children have been getting messy in their very own sensory obstacle course. They found it very funny waking through the different boxes and describing what each one felt like!

The children have been exploring natural ways of painting and exploring the garden for materials to be able to make their very own natural art pieces.
