Our Space topic has well and truly taken off!
Our Early Years children had the best time as we made our very own trip to the moon with our special little bear friend from our story “Whatever Next” by Jill Murphy. We ate lots of yummy “Space food” and loved using our telescopes to look around for aliens and robots!
The adventures into Space continued as we learned about the solar system and built our own shiny rocket. The Planet Maths counting game was also a very big hit!
A BIG thank-you to Rory and his family who have baked our Early Years a ‘Mars’ cake to show us what his favourite planet is! This delicious cake was epic and made our adventures into Space all the more enjoyable.
We have well and truly “had a blast” and the fun will continue with more exploration of our wonderful solar system.
