All Go at Children 1st @ Grantham

Our annual sports event at Grantham was action packed and full of fun!

It was a lovely sunny day so before the event the children were reminded about the importance of applying sun cream and why it is important to drink lots of water.

The children loved cheering each other on as they took part in relays, running races, balancing and obstacle courses. They all tried their hardest and really enhanced their physical skills. The characteristics of effective learning were evident as the children ‘had a go’ ‘kept trying’ were ‘involved’ and ‘worked with ideas.’

The support and encouragement from everyone was fabulous and even our trainees got involved demonstrating that taking part is so enjoyable. Well done everyone!
