Aliens Love Underpants at Children 1st @ Bilborough

The children were enjoying ‘Aliens Love Underpants’ so much that we decided to have fun with the story and explore it further through a range of activities. The hilarious book by Claire Freedman and Ben Cort tells the tale of the aliens who visit planet earth simply because they want our underpants and it certainly captured the children’s imaginations.

The children used magnifying glasses to look carefully through the space themed tuff spot to see what they could find. The green, slimy playdough was good to handle and was used to transform the children into aliens. They also created some lovely collaged alien face masks to support their role play in the special alien space which the children had built as a team.

To finish off the topic Miss Sharon supplied the children with their very own white underpants to decorate. The children used felt pens to design some very colourful underpants which they proceeded to wear for the rest of the day! Luckily, the aliens haven’t visited to take them…. YET!!!!
