Ahoy Me Hearties at Children 1st @ Nurseries

Pirate Day at our Bilborough, Sheffield and Leicester nurseries and at St. Peter and St. Paul saw the staff welcoming children dressed in their colourful costumes for a special day of pirate adventures.

Dressed up as pirates or princesses, there were so many activities to keep everyone busy.

The pirates enjoyed digging for gold in sand trays and building their own pirate ships! There were treasure maps to be made and treasure hunts in the garden! Walking the plank was great fun, as was swimming with the sharks! Such brave pirates!

With songs to sing, books to share and of course special pirate words to learn, it’s no wonder our young swashbucklers had such a great day.

Peter Rabbits at SPSP loved exploring different potions, smelling delicious orange scents and making pirate perfume using lots of flowers!

Thank-you to everyone at our nurseries for joining in and dressing up. You all looked amazing! What a fun day was had by all!
