A Pan-tastic Day at Children 1st @ Main Street

The children at Main Street have loved taking part in Shrove Tuesday activities.

This morning they created their own pancake art work, each choosing a pancake shaped piece of paper and using paint to add the colourful toppings. They dripped on yellow paint for the lemon and white glitter for the sugar.

This afternoon the pancake theme continued as the children made playdough during creative time and used rollers and cutters to make their own playdough pancakes. The children loved role playing with their pancakes serving them onto plates to eat.

After all this fun, we all enjoyed a pancake or two for pudding at tea time.

What a Pan-tasic day!!
