A Host of Autumn Activities at Children 1st @ Chesterfield Royal Hospital

The children have been very busy finding out about people who help to make our community safe and healthy. We were pleased to welcome the Police and the Ambulance Service who talked with the children about how they help us. As you can see from the photographs, trying on the paramedic’s jacket caused so much laughter and sitting in the Police car was great fun. We are very grateful to both of these important services for their support.

For our Diwali celebrations, the children made some delicious treats and some dressed in traditional dress.

The children in early years made lanterns and small divas. Cat and Pumpkin Day inspired many creative activities. The babies loved experiencing the joy of paint whilst the older ones created cat masks and loved dressing up. Thanks to all our families who provided such great Halloween costumes.
