A Glittering Fairy Tale Day at Children 1st @ Newark Town

A day full of magic and wonder was experienced at Newark Town recently as the nursery embarked on a Fairy Tale Day.

All rooms have explored the theme through traditional stories such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, Rapunzel and many more.

The children engaged in a wide range of activities throughout the nursery which sparked their imaginations and creativity and encouraged them to become involved in storytelling. With dressing up and role play activities, this was a super fun day!

Fairy tales provide important benefits which support the development of children such as:

Sparking creativity and imagination

Improving vocabulary

Demonstrating structures of stories

Exploring different cultures

But most of all, these traditional tales help to create a love for reading and stories.
